Here in this arena I write the fashions and crazies that explode out of my head...or maybe not. But one things is for sure, time is my master and I hate it "What??" Yea I do not know what I'm saying. I'll write of the Fashions and Inspirations that I hold close and I'll post them and other things and such as protocol requires. Oh gawd the formality is killing me and making this boring -- I don't know. Smool is the word, none is the body and Fashionably eradicated peanuts is the idea -- I think.

Summer Cool Nails (Me and Joyce’s)

Me and my married friend felt the summer at her bestfriend’s house that we crashed.

Dear Fashion Intern PH,

I’m 13 years old and I really want a fashion internship/summer job this summer. My family is having troubles financially and I really want to help out. Is it possible for a young teenager like me to find an internship or a summer job in the fashion industry? I really want to help my parents though people say that it’s impossible for me to find an internship/summer job because I’m just 13. (I actually know that interns don’t get paid. Though I want experience so that when I’m older, I can include it in my CV and find a steady job in the fashion industry.) Thanks and more power! :)

Keana del Rosario

Dear Keana,

First off, we’d like to commend you for stepping up for your family at a very early age. That is a very noble act. Second, we admire you for considering an internship at 13. That is a very good start!

Admit it. One way or another, at this time in college, you are still a little confused with what you want to do when you’re out of that campus. With all the fashion innovations and formulated jobs in our country today, we get confused in which road to take.

For starters, make a dream list. Think of it as a map of your application process. This will be a big help in figuring out where to apply. There are a lot of fields to conquer in fashion like PR, Marketing, Styling, Design, etc. If you’re not sure which one suits you, this ‘dream list’ can help you through it.

COMPANY

Where do you see yourself in the future? Will you be writing for a magazine, styling for celebrities ala Liz Uy or be a premiere designer like Rajo Laurel? Where will you be happy?

The intern queen once said, never be a hostage of your major. It will eat you up, frustrate you and limit you to what you think you can only do.

“I can’t be in the magazine because my major is Political Science.”
